I am trying to initiate a tcp/ip game either joining one or hosting... one problem is that CEAW has picked up my LAN address for the hosting of game and I can't change this to my true ip address... when i try to join a game someone else is hosting ... after about 1 minute the game drops back to the main menu screen... any help??

Are you behind a router of any kind? If so then that will be the address that the network subsystem will tend to connect to. You may need to open some ports to get the connections to see each other correctly.

There is a sticky in the main forum which has details on the steps to take if you are having problems.
