Great add on the new marine life. How about a new land creature? or even an event such as a very virulent plague requiring research points to cure? The cure could also be a bargaining chip with other factions. More native lifeforms within reason will help bring more atmosphere to the game. I know I mentioned underwater exploitation early in the beta similar to Apha Centauri. Any thoughts on that for the initial release? expansion maybe? The game keeps getting better, particularly in Diplomacy. Just need some tweaking that has been covered in a previous post.

On another note....Pandora is always sunny...weather? Hurricanes? Tornados? Natural disasters? Maybe an option to select the Star Type with different attributes such as frequent flares, radiation, etc.
