is there a way to just mod the units attack better or decrease attack or movement i cant find any folders that would let me change unit stats any help plz thanks.also where can i find the xml files i have dat files again thanks for any help.

currently you cannot alter the unit stats.

You can get the xmls by loading a scenario, saving it right away and getting to the save game folder :

C:\Users\YourName\Saved Games\Germany at War

Move the save game to:

C:\Users\YourName\Documents\Germany at War\Scenarios

Take a texteditor and remove the command signature="" and its attribute from the header and delete all messages and the difficulty at the end.

Just mind the </scenario> at the end and do not eliminate any <Field> commands. Then you should be able to load it into the editor in the game.
We are working on making these things a lot easier and enabeling you to create your own campaigns, which can be done in theory but you lack the doc with the commands right now.
