how do I download this to play? everything is in german and I cannot find a download link? thanks for any help

You need to register first before being able to download anything from DMP website. Sadly as you said everything is in German and their new layout is confusing Google Translator so its quite difficult if you aren't speaking German. I try to guide you through the process.

First go to the page using this link. On top of the screen in the middle you will see "Mein DMP" text. Click on it and a window on the top will open.

Now this is the area where you can log in but you probably need to register first. I explain all the meanings here already as you will need to log in after registering anyway. The top textbox labeled "Benutzername" means user name. The second one labeled "Passwort" means "Password". The checkbox labeled "Angemeldet bleiben" means stay logged in. The "Anmelden" button means Log in. Now below there are three lines of text: "Passwort vergessen?" = Password lost and is used to retrieve a password in case you lost it. "Benutzernamen vergessen" = User name lost and is used to retrieve your user name. And finally the last "Registrieren" means register and is used to register to the boards. Thats what you need to click on.

Now you should arrive at a new page where you can register: The input boxes reads as follows:
- "Name" = Name - they want you to enter your full name ... well you can be honest you can be called Mr. X too
- "Benutzername" = "user name" - your user name for the boards
- "Passwort" = "Password" - pretty self explanatory
- "Passwort bestätigen" = "repeat Password" - again pretty self explanatory
- "E-Mail-Adresse" = "email address - you will get your email to confirm your registration sent there
- "E-Mail bestätigen" = "repeat email address" - again pretty self explanatory
- "Captcha" = captcha = they want to keep bots out
- "Spamüberprüfung" = anti spam check = they are really paranoid about bots and spammers. You need to solve a little mathematical equation. It's always random and in german but quite easy to understand. If you have trouble with understanding it just use google translator.

Now after you filled all in press on the "Registrieren" button and you should be done. You probably get a confirmation email where you need to follow a link and then log in and go to the start page again. Now you should see a download button and be able to download the addon.

No, you need to register in order to download Pacific Corps - I did, and I don't speak German!

If you follow Tarrak's detailed instructions, you shouldn't go too far wrong.

Sorry but you put Ostfront into the title. To download the Pacific one just follow the guide i wrote (it doesn't matter for the registration if you on the wrong addon page) and then instead of going to the Ostfront page navigate to the pacific page.

Btw sorry for being a bit offtopic but out of curiosity: What's the deal with the Streitmacht Churchy? Some kind of split in the DMP community or just someone opening a private page to run along DMP?

ALso Off Topic but also on... I found that registering on DMP went quite smoothly. I used the Bing Translater to help me along. I have been quite happy with DMP and have made many postings and gotten great help from their participants. As for Streitmacht, I attempted to register with them, got their email that the admins were reviewing and then never heard from them again. Luckily Nikivdd made some of his mods that I was interested in available on sendspace. I attempted several times to send emails to Streitmacht asking why I was refused access but have received no response.

I love Slitherine and Matrix games. I am and was beta testers for several games and modes. I am just thrown by Streitmacht response (or none).

Sorry for my outburst...

If you use google chrome it automatically translates for you. You don't have to mess with settings or anything it will ask you if you want GC to translate to english. I use it on the DMP site and I can read most things with out much fuss.

I download Ostfront 4.11 from DMP.. I believe they are the same but as far as I know the DMP has the latest (4.11?)
