Anyone know how to surprises acrylic varnish shine of paper flags please?

I think you're asking how to remove the varnish shine but suffering from some predictive text or auto correction! iPad?

I find that Testors Dullcote will remove the shine from anything. I prefer the brush-on type but there's also a spray version.
