Purchase Screen Screenshots

Next batch of in-game screenshots are ready: the Purchase Screen.

You're probably familiar with the style of the UI. Click on a class (Infantry, Cavalry, etc) on the left. That brings up a selection of units available in that class. You can also compare stats of your selected unit to another in the same class.

This batch highlights four of the realms in Sovereignty:

1) Sonneneve: Realm of the high elves, showing Infantry
2) Myrmont: A powerful civilized rival of Ariselle, showing Cavalry
3) Maledor: Zealots of the Cult of the Worm, showing Infantry
4) Ariselle: A major civilized sea power, showing Infantry

Good Hunting!

It's looking good and I am looking forward to it.

I do have a question. Do factions have a set number of units they can recruit or can new units be unlocked via research or expansion into other territories?

Each realm has its own set of unique units. We don't have "tech unlocks" as such, but units may win medals for valor in battle, and this allows the player to choose a unique new ability for that Unit. Maybe you want to award it a +1 Attack. Maybe you want to award it the Venom ability. Award choices are based on the Unit itself. So, an Assassin might have Venom as a possible medal choice, while a Scout might have Evasion or a +1 Move.

Good Hunting!

This looks definitely promising
Justiciar and Champion of Chaos together - could be a funny civilization to play.

Hi guys,

Any news yet or are you maintaining a shroud of secrecy for the time being? :)

We are currently working through a list of known bugs in preparation for beta. We'd like to get the game cleaned of "knowns" before proceeding into beta. Then players are welcome hit us with the "unknowns". ;)

Hi guys,

Happy New Year and all that.

I feel like a bugger for writing it, but any news would be [warmly] welcomed!

Hi all,

Thanks for your patience. We submitted a publisher review this week and determined a number of polish issues before we will be ready to enter beta. With both a campaign and a tactical game, Sovereignty has many moving parts. Those parts are about 100% in, but they don't always communicate or provide enough feedback to the player. We need to get that right, and we're going through each task systematically to get there. The good news is, Slitherine is committed to releasing a polished game here, even if it means pushing back release dates.

Good Hunting!

That is something Slitherine has over other publishers - they don't usually push out a game just to meet a deadline, they delay until it is right.
I don't mind waiting - but at the same time, I sure am looking forward to this game.

In the mean time - how about some more screen pics or more detail on game mechanics or some other bone you can throw our way?
:)

I must say - I like the level of detail presented for the units and the quick to read way to view unit stats! Keep up the good work! :)
