I'm begining to think the French have stolen the lead on us Brits with FoG
Our results were very knight heavy at Warfare, and I think that most players are still trying to cope with them.

I've still a lot to learn, and made mistakes in at least 3 of my games. With 2 BG's of Companion cavalry as reserves, I twice made the wrong decision on where/when to commit them.

I'll be definitely going to at least one comp in France next year.

due to the train strikes , two players were unable to come to Aniche and the would have play Sassanid and Parthian ;

the general aggressive use of Heavy foot by my opponents was decisive against my poor longbowmen ( they fought hard but finished to die after a long fight in each of the four games )
Iwill try write some reports on them ( be patient because It will certainly take some time for me to write them in english :wink: )
in all the cases the FOG rules works well , games are fun and interesting even when I lose :wink:
