Hi Tim
Please save one of those places for me.
I have booked accommodation but the on-line system did not work when I attempted to enter for FOGR. Can I send you a cheque or pay by other means?

Hi Tim,
I meant to say, as I have pre-paid the accomodation, please save TWO places (me & Keith Spedding).
Keith will have a go at the on-line entry for us both when he gets home tonight.

Looking at the entries, yet again us Renaissance chappies are trouncing the Ancients boys and girls in terms of numbers of entries...it looks as if FoGR players currently outnumber all of the FoGAm entries in all three AM periods combined... !

I see that you're both on Steve's list on the website now. Excellent to have you on board!

Warfare list-checker details (i.e. me

) and competition rules are now on the site!
http://www.wargamesassociationreading.c ... ns-24.html
The critical bit for those drafting army-lists is that time-limits are 3h 15m +/- a bit, finish the end of the current phase when I shout the big shout.

Hi Tim, (now that will confuse them both

)
Cut off date for the list? Sneaky practice with the type of army at bhgs doubles me thinks

The other two might be confused but as I am now officially 'George'...

Usual two weeks beforehand - 2 November. It's normally 3 weeks for Warfare, but Adrian Escott has very kindly stepped up to take on the DBMM list-checking which allows me to allow you all a little more leeway.

Would you prefer 'Gorgeous George' ?

Pete
If it all the same to you, George will do. Never been much of a darts player.

Hi guys,
The list deadline is fast approaching - 2 November. If you are in a position to let me have your list early, that would be great. I have 70 lists in total to check for all the FOG competitions (and with room for a couple more yet!) and so far I am waiting for the final 50. If everyone can help me out by getting your lists in early, we may to be able to get the R&R up that bit quicker.
Cheers,
Tim Child

So what's the LOA equivalent for his comp? Royalist raiding party option?

I take it that's a no to reprising the Taters after their mashing in Oxford.
For myself, I'm wondering if the Ottoman's are the Polish equivalent* for this comp.
Dave
* equivalent as in - looks good on paper, but it's a dog on the table.

They will be back in their more pure form of "Mongols".... none of this complicated Dragoon stuff.... I'll leave that to the Hoof Master. Byron's list is the scary one....

I do (as of today) have all the lists, however, one is wrong (Lynette - I have emailed you today, please check your spam folder if you are reading this!) and one is in Mac-only format and I can't read it.
I don't like to publish R&R until everything is finalised, to avoid any allegations (however unlikely) that players might tweak their final lists after they have seen the R&R.
Cheers,
Tim

I have just had an email from Bryan Edwards, who is unfortunately having to pull out from the competition. That means that numbers will be uneven.
Having a bye at Warfare is not necessarily a Bad Thing. The demo and participation games are always great and there's plenty of shopping (or Christmas-list drafting

). However if there is anyone out there who finds themselves, or a friend, available we would be very glad to have you!
