Can Cavalry passing through a square deviate there pass through move to new enemy within 2MU or Must it always be dead straight from their original line of charge?

We have always played that it is on the same line as the charge.

Of course we may be playing it wrong...

Your pass through move must be straight so your cav is placed with its rear touching the opposite side of the square. This is where your move begins. The cav will move in a straight line from that point. Any new target within 2 MU of this line and within your move distance may be attacked. You can 'veer into' a new target that meets those requirements.

Agree straight pass through.

If you could swerve you could more easily pass through in gamey-tricksy ways.
