Does anyone know if the AI makes use of switchable units?
Thanx from Virginia

Thanx for the reply, it's good to know the AI is smart enough to use switch units, makes me feel better when I win.
Sorry for the loss of your plane, BTW , these things will happen

Yes, it does... You have to be very careful if you leave a tank unit next to an A.I. controlled heavy AA gun, after finishing your turn, it will almost surely switch the gun to AT mode and badly damege your tank... If you can, always support your tank with an adyacent artillery unit. as an example, I remember one battle when an 85 mm Soviet AA gun turned AT and almost destroys my Pz IV!

This can be a big chance to weaken a heavy fortified strongpoint or city: Bring a tank in spotting range of an heavy russian 85 AA and the AI will switch to AT. Now you can bomb the AT/AA and adjected Artillery as heavy as you can. I used this "trick" many times in the DLC-East.
