New unit speeds

(I must start with a question, how can I tell the current Beta version I am referring to?)

I quite like that troopers can now move 2 hexes in good terrain. This makes them almost better than the ATVs by now though. Naval transport is now going 3 hexes, not sure if this is better or worse yet.
Map trading worked nicely, though the enemy AIs seem to take less advantage from it. Maybe they should haggle some more before they reveal the map.

I had a different result on my most recent game... AI refuses to trade maps. Everyone of them to "Tee" refused to trade maps.

As for the movement rate of base units, I have found with terrain effects in play it is very seamless. Forests eat up movement rate and I plant them all around the cities to stall incoming units. Roads are very effective for moving units with the base 2 rate... and the bonus of the additional movement on the ATV gives it the true scout ability.

It HAS been quite an adjustment from the base 1 movement rate... but I'm in favor of the current rate.
