Alien Attack reports

I'm still trying to nail this issue down, but I have been hunting at great expense a Leviathan and later an Aspidoth (sp?).

In the process I updated to 0.20.4 and I am 100% certain I lost SOME units here or there to those fights that were not reported. I see the reduced health on the creature and I KNOW I had a unit there to block... but there was no report at the beginning of my turn.

On a side note... I still haven't captured one, but I've accidentally killed a couple! Quite fun and challenging!

Well I just got a message about a Drone transport being killed...it may have been a mutual destruction that failed to report. I lost a Leviathan I was hunting when it attacked me, killed my bugboat and died in the attack apparently.

Ok, latest on the Aspidoch capture... yuck.

I've beat one down to 1% health and the artillery no longer affects it, apparently there has been a change and Long Tom/Snipers can no longer make effective use of the Pheropod Alien capture device.

So I brought in a land vehicle that captures, and it had to enter the water to attack. Aspidoch did not attack it, but on the next turn I attempted to attack with Bugcatcher ATV and it routed very strangely and veered around the Target.

This is the view of it's intent AFTER it has completed it's move. It's crossing back over the hex it originated from... between the Target and the fort.

Still fun, still challenging, but I have to go back and build new Marine Bugcatchers with the artillery changes.

Notice the near full health Aspidoch approaching from the south? In this fight it seems to have drawn several other nearby Aliens to assist it, I've taken out several of the light flying ones and recently a Devourer that all seemed drawn to the fight. That is really cool!! Probably not coded intentionally... but cool either way!
