Nimrod Beta Reports

I would just like to say thank you for letting me into the beta, I recieved an email earlier. It's my first Beta where I have a real oppurtunity to test the game and report any issues/bugs, thank you for giving me the opportunity to help make this game fantastic!
Alas I am very tired tonight and won't be able to do an hour or so of Pandora at the present time, but I will add what I have noticied so far, and proceed to update this post when I play next.
Nimrod/Josh Thomson Beta Report 0.20
Installation Process
-No Windows 64-bit version?
-Avast does not like the 'PandoraServer.exe' asking me to allow the connection whilst updating. Had to exclude it from the virus check in the Avast settings.
First Impressions
-Starting screen, with the races and map size could possibly be a bit bigger on a 1920x1080 resolution.
-Start settings:
Faction-Solar Dynasty
World Size-Medium
World Shape-Random
Difficulty-Medium
Alien Aggressor-Medium
-Intro cinematic was started off stuttering a bit, when the camera zoomed over the planet and when the ships and the logo came in, there was tiny bit of stutter. After the cinematic continued to 'fly out of the ships hangar' the stutter had gone.
-After starting the game I realised the texture quality was low so had to quit out and change texture and shadow quality to high. Could texture quality, shadow quality and be auto-detected depending on your system hardware, or maybe an auto-detect button?
-The starting vehicle is currently on a mountainous tile, and is slightly clipping into part of the mountain.
-After pressing print screen to get an image of the clipping vehicle, it instead took a print screen of the Pandora title screen. I had to window the game and alt+print screen to capture it.
Just realised the screenshots go into appdata, disregard the print screen issue, however maybe we should be aware of the saved location when we press print screen in-game?
-Mouse edge scrolling feels too fast for me, I went into the settings to change 'Mouse scroll speed' but it regardless of the % speed I choose, the speed stays the same.
-Also the UI is beautiful and the futuristic font that is default is fantastic, it's great to see such a decent interface for a strategy game, a genre which desperately needs a top-notch UI to be manageable.
I have the game logs and saves into a .rar file, I also have the screenshot of the vehicle clipping but I cannot link them in this post as I get "Your post looks too spamy for a new user, please remove off-site URLs."
