Slitherine

Hello all,

For those of you who tested those two and would have to pick one or the other as your
Barbarian army (mainly for the Romphaia, heavy weapon aspect) which one would you pick?

From what i have collected from the various threads here, it looks like the Dacian are
either the standard impact foot, sword or the falxmen unprot heavy weapon, and the
Thracian prot/unprot? heavy weapon for the romphaia users and probably offensive
spears for the others, at least that's what i read here.

Would the Thracians be more flexible as an army than the Dacians ? I like both and like
i said would like to try FoG with a Barbarian army and read that they were not the easiest
type of army to start with...

So, you Barbarians army lovers what would you pick?

Omg, don't tell me i'm the only one planning to use hairy dudes ^^

What might decide you between these two choices is the availability of allies.

The Thracians can have Greek hoplite allies (but not many rhomphaias at that date), or Roman allies.

The Dacians can have Sarmatian allies (very nice armoured lancers).
