Page 177, it is write :
"Later Ottoman Turkish armies cannot have more than 1/2 of their Timariots battle groups as Superior."
This concerns he ally that can constitute from this list ? Thanks for help!

This is covered under Appendix 1 - Using the Lists in each book. For Eternal Empires this is on Page 69:
"All special instructions applying to an army list must be adhered to. They also apply to allied contingents supplied ny the army".

With that understanding the Later Ottoman Turkish ally now forces you to have 4 BG's with no option to flank march.
E.g. at least:
2 BG's of Timariots, 1 to be average
1 BG of Akinji
1 BG of Azab Archers
Can't see that being too popular.

You only have to take 1 BG of Timariots, so you could have a 3 BG ally. It would of course have to be average, so I agree it's not going to be a popular option.

That curious, if we expect that mercenaries fight as ally... average mercenaries battle troops are rarely given much less Chosen!
