It's been a busy day
6 sample pages from Field of Glory have been posted on the product page showing the level of polish throughout.
Check them out - we think they look very cool!

Oh dear, oh dear!
"Other ranks can also be eligible to fight if so specified in the combat section"
What a let down: in this context "can also be" and "if so" are clumsy, inelegant, and fine examples of
Barkerese. Nice to see it's alive and well
Have you though about a plain English alternative:
"Other ranks may fight if specified in the combat section"
or
"Other ranks may fight as specified in the combat section"
Do Osprey offer any editing support?

That is our intention Peter:-), it will also be on sale in outlets that are not the usual gamers stores, so there is a chance of wider exposure

Wow.........very nice. They will definitely get the attention, similar to the way the Osprey racks bring the browsers to their book carousels.

Sorry, Iain, but the man is totally right. Catty comment about Osprey and editing support, but he's dead to rights on the words issue. Clean it up now, so it doesn't haunt you later!
The books look gorgeous; that's a very, very nice presentation.

the initial sentence is somewhat cumbersome and although the intended procedure is understandable it could be presented in a more concise form.

the pages look great. it's going to be difficult to wait until february.
