To All,
I have first publish versions of the GS 3.0 Manual (PDF, iBook & Kindle) formats ready to be downloaded.
Also a 4 page 3.0 features brochure.
Please see:
http://www.gs-manual.org/gs-manual.org/ ... nuals.html
As always - any edits and/or corrections are appreciated!! Even more - contributions are welcome - especially for tactics and strategies statements, and detailed examples.
Enjoy and let me know if iBook and Kindle versions are useful.
P.S. No - I do not know when they will release the actual game. Please contact Paul or Borger for that ...

◆ Russia goes on a war footing when Turkey is invaded by Axis forces.
◆ 6 German GARs added to force pool as first Allied unit enters a German hex.
◆ Allies now suffer morale loss if Belgium is taken in 2 turns.
◆ Italian surrender - modified conditions so 2 rail head losses count as 1 city loss.
◆ 6 additional German GAR Volkstrum units gained when allies enter Germany.
looks like 6 GAR appears twice

Yes. Those hexes are part of East Prussia and German. So if the Russians enter the Königsberg area the Germans will get 6 Volksturm garrison units.

Hi Alec :
after check out the 3.0 manual & brochure , I have two questions :
1 I still remembered that it is said whenever there is a sealion , UK will get 2-4 free Gars . Is it true or be finally removed from 3.0 instead of 6 germany Gars whenever allies enters germany's hex ?
2 according to the brochure , any unit may in sentry situation . how about ground units as corp , mech & panzers ? what does it mean to the ground units & what will they benifit from it ? faster recover the effective or sth else ?

Morris, when you put unit (other then fighter, carrier or sub) this unit will be skipped when using previous/next unit command (page up/down buttons).
No other effects.

If you use "next unit" and "previous unit" commands to cycle through your unmoved troops, these commands will ignore ground units in sentry mode.
It was always possible to put ground units on sentry with S button, it is not 3.0 feature. New feature is that you can do it with right-click.
You can check it with your GS version aswell.

I should have mentioned it earlier but on page 182 on the chart showing Unit Build Limits: under 1942 the limit should be 9 (not 7).
