How do you make use of resources in storage ? I am getting a message saying that I am running out of ore. OK I have very little in stockpile but have got loads in storage.

The storage number does not indicate how much you *have* in storage, but how much you *can* have in total of any resource. Stockpile means available resources, storage the amount of space your available resources can take up.

(note: almost always try to prioritize your ore, and try to conquer cities with a high ore production, since this will alow you to make armies quick, and allow you to move your armies a lot withhout hurting your economy a lot).
