U.S. Release Update for the PS2

Does anyone here have any new info about the U.S. Release Date for the PS2? I want this game, but I live in the U.S. Please Help me!

In fact, that smacks of collusion with larger game companies. The games industry is rapidly becoming as corrupt as the rest of industry.

Do you have an estimated time when it will release and how much money it will cost?

We have been waiting 3 months for that info from Sony. Still no idea I'm afraid. Pricing wise I think its around $20 but that depends on the local publisher & production costs etc.

I just checked Amazon.com and it said it will be out in playstation 2 format on 03/31/08

We are still waiting to hear from Sony unfortunately so that is only their best guess. Unless Sony give us approval we can't do anything. It's one of the problems of console development and why we have steered clear of it before. The tester at Sony who reviewed it does not like the game so we're stuck unable to release it until we can convince him, but we're not allowed to talk to him. It's ridiculous when the game has been top 10 all around Europe... sigh.

I'm not entirely sure. I don't think that the PSP has region protection - but I also know it does have the ability to do it. I'm not sure if anyone can give you a definitive answer, but I would hold off on trying it for now.

PSP should be ok to play in the USA. A number of US playes have the game and seem to be working ok. Unless they all have European PSP's I think it should be fine.
