Anzio Ship Firing Ranges

Just started Anzio as the US after Salerno and both of my ships show a range of 4 but can shoot at units that are 8 hexes away. Am I the first to see this?

The ships have a hero bonus that add to the range of the ships.

You'll also soon discover there's an equalizing attribute on the axis side...

Thanks I see how they got the range up now.. Got a triumph by going for the rail gun and then swinging back down to the south to capture Cistrerna.
