I generally perfer to play as the Axis. When I first saw that BA Operation Sealion was coming out I was excited and was going to get it, but after researching it, found that you play as the Allied player trying to hold off the Axis invasion. Not what I wanted to do.

Would love to see either a seperate version of each expansion or the choice to play the side you wished to within each expansion.

Unfortunately it's effectively just double to work to make single player maps playable from both sides. Generally the single player missions tend to be asymetric, as those kinds of situations tend to be the most interesting missions. That makes them highly unsuited to being played from both sides.

That said, BA2 will have a highly configurable skirmish mode which will allow you to play from whichever side you desire

Hopefully in BA 2 we get the German Barbarossa Campagin. Should be challenging when you arrive in Kiev and Leningrad. Then Stalingrad and Kursk in the 2nd, finally Poland and Germany in the final installment. These of course are Russian view points.
