Superb model images, this game is going to be brilliant I can't wait for its release.

They appear so darn real! Wheres the Titans??? Like to see at least 3 or 4 of them per race!

What about infantry? and any flyer?

Infantry, Titans, Air units, Artillery... we have them all.

Are the colors going to be more diverse, i.e., paint schemes etc., I'm hoping that for example the Space Marines, just aren't red, they have multiple color sets and the units will have details such as edge trimming and other details and decals.

It's just Blood Angels so they are all red

Other chapters will have different color schemes

Indeed every Space Marine chapter of course has their own specific chapter colour and livery.

I know it´s a bit early to ask, but could there be the chance to have add-ons including other races/armies or a generator (colours) for own armies for the campaign ( or at least for multiplayer)?

Panzer Corps had plenty of add-ons (which is the reason why Armageddon seems to be delayed), so i assume that if there is the demand for it, Armageddon would be the same. The only thing i'm thinking is that Slitherine would be limited in what they could do in add-ons, due to the Games Workshop IP. GW are normally pretty strict with such things, so they might have their hands tied a bit. Note that i'm just guessing here based on other GW based pc games. I really have no idea if it applies in this case...

I know about GW´s thinking about their universe ;o)
If there is someone who would transfer SSI´s "Rites of War" or "Final Liberation" to actual platforms, i still would buy.
So I´m looking forward to Armageddon (though I have to play for the false Emperor...).

I spent a good chunk of last night trying to get Chaos Gate and Final Liberation to work again on my Win 7 machine. I can play them both now, but not well.

I so wish there could be more like those two games. They were bay far the best Warhammer 40K based video games ever. Much better than Dawn of War.

On the plus side, I found the sound files for Chaos Gate in the wav directory. May have to use those for my computer's sound scheme...

Chaos Gate was indeed a cool game, albeit a bit buggy (especially with the vehicles). I have to agree with you that its a shame they didnt continue on with more games in that vein. The cynic in me says that its because GW wants to sell more miniatures (higher profit margin) and therefore doesn't allow for pc games that would impinge on that. That's why you'll never see a Warhammer Fantasy Battle PC game or 40K pc game, other than adaptions that use the copyright but don't mimic the tabletop game.

I'm just glad that they have allowed their specialist board games such as Blood Bowl, Space Hulk, Armaggedon, etc. to be turned into pc games. I heard Mordheim has also been given the go ahead, which should be cool.
