Hi All,
Beening awhile sence i posted or played PzC, manny months in fact.
When last i played, i had the Panzer Corps and i just bought the DLC 39 when Afrika Korps was released.
I had only played 2 of the 39 DLC scenarios, when off i went and got the AK Campain and had a blast in the desert.

A few days back i started playing Pzc again and i up dated via Check for Update button and downloaded the 1.20 patch and tried to install it.
I made a bit of a blunder of my 1st install and i thought that with my experments on a campain i am working on, that i had messed up my orgional game.
So i un-installed and re-installed with PzC 1st and Afrika Korps next and then the applied the 1.20 patch.
All was ok or so i tought, i had played a few games and had messed about with the editor and all was fine
I now installed the GC39 and after reading the 1.20 patch log, i should have a hero on turn 2, based on the 1.14 patch in the 1st scenario.
Nada, Zip, What the Heck? I did a search here on the forum and Yes that hero will appear if you have the 1.14 patch or above.
Was the 1.20 patch not working? The couple of beers i had while doing this had impaired my reason to think logistical?

AH old content, new patch, Opps i had deleted the 1.20 patch download, so had to download again, then patch the game and all is now ok. Hero attained in 1st scenario :D

I guess the install order is
#1 Basic Game......Panzer Corps or a newer basic game. ie: Afrika Korps
#2 Install the DLC ('s)
#3 Download the latest patch and apply.

Will this install order always work?

I just did a full new install and put the base game first, then Afika Korps, Allied and finally the DLC's. All went smoothly, Allied patched up to 1.20 and it found all my saves and cores first pop. Very easy product to use.
