Have heard nothing of this. Probably connected to the reworking of it with the new engine, but that is still in beta (new version up lately!!). I hope it's not just iPad.

I can't see it only being Ipad , even though i read a review with Slitherine
that their ios games are outselling pc 10 to 1 at the moment , they can't ignore
the need to make cross platform games like BA.

We don't have anything like FoG Ancients coming but we have some other new exciting things to announce related to that subject in the next few months.

From their press conference:
Field of Glory v2 for iOS and Android is in final beta and will include 10 expansions from release. Field of Glory is an adaption of the tabletop miniatures gaming system of the same name. Updated PC and Mac versions are also planned.

My interpretation of their emphasis:
The think that FOG PC is financially dead, and will update it to Unity, but are not expecting much growth from it.
However, they think that on iOS it will be a BIG hit and revive the franchise.

I am excited by this. 10 expansions at launch...OK, many will be DLC, but that is 3 more than FOG PC currently (and may include Napoleonic). And it will bring a whole new batch of gamers in and encourage continued development. I am assuming that multiplayer will be cross-platform, there won't be an apartheid barrier.......

Doesn't say when though...are our Betatesters aware of simultaneous beta testing going on on iOS or Android? If not, I'd guess we won't see this until Xmas........well, I am getting good at waiting.

Slitherine would ensure my loyalty for life if they made the iOS expansions free to everyone who has already bought them for the PC game...anyone listening out there?
