Hi,
Im just returning to playing FOW but none of my addon purchases are available. I had storm of arrows and i can see the folder on my system but cant access the module. I know I had others purchased but havent searched for them yet.

Any idea what might have happened?

You are in the right place but Iain who usually answers is away at the moment, I believe. I will send a message to another one of the team to see if they can help.

We do indeed have a portion of the team away on holiday at the moment. I would first ask, did you reinstall the game or was it previously working? Are you fully updated to the latest version?

Hi,

No it was working fine but hadny played in about three months. Game patched to v1.8.1 says at bottom left of screen Ready:FOG then below that ROR SOA etc...

If I click digital army generator for example only FOG is available. I have Storm of arrows and as far as can remember at least two others.

Appreciate your help.

If you're not seeing SOA next to FOG (like in the screenshot below), than that means that you don't have "Storm of Arrows" activated.




To activate your addons please follow these steps:

1. Double click the Field of Glory game icon in desktop.
2. Click the "Serials…" button.
3. Select the expansion pack you wish to unlock.
4. Enter the serial number of the expansion pack
5. Select "Enter Serial".

Sorry but I don't see a serials button. Double clicking shortcut brings me to splash screen to play field of glory, game manual and check for update....register etc on rhs

If you have FoG's Matrix edition, instead of "Serials..." you'll have "Register Army Pack Serial" (just below "Game Manual") on the menu launcher. It's the same.

In that case there's a problem with how FoG was installed and updated.
My suggestion is to write an email to support[at]slitherine.co.uk with your order details and ask for a new download link for FoG. One which is already pre-patched with 1.5.0, like the one in Slitherine ftp server. You can mention this thread in your email to Slitherine.

Uninstall the game. Don't forget to check and delete any file that might still be in the folder where the game was previously installed. Then you can install the game using the new downloaded installer. Next, download and install the last update 1.8.1.

Sent an email on Monday. Nothing back other than an automated receipt of email.

Mike, it will be easier if you write a new email (with your new email address) to support[at]slitherine.co.uk and request for a new download link for FoG.
