Hi Simon,

What manufacturer are they?

I'm building 2 BG's of Louis XIV... let's see if I can get 2 BG's done by the time you've done an entire army :)

Ha ha. I DO follow your blog, and I probably did read it but lost the memory in the great overwork of my brain over the last month :)

They do look nice, but I'm afraid my buying new armies may be dead in the water for several years :(

Looking forward to the finished product - you're already beating me on the army vs 2 BG challenge :)

Simon

what a wonderful job you have made of these. Everything about them is impressive. In the time you have taken to do these I have painted the shields of 48 Seleukid pikemen...

Simon,

They truly are awesome! A fantastic paint and presentation job - like everyone else on this forum, I don't know how you can produce such a high quality product in such a short timescale.

I'm really looking forward to seeing them at the weekend and the main reason I don't want to face them is they'll put my Japanese to shame! Now I wish I'd brought my Anglo Dutch cos they would have looked as nice!

Your table will be easy to find as it'll be surrounded by hordes of drooling FOGR players!

See you Friday.

Don
