This has probably been asked a few times... :)

I'm looking for a Unit Wiki (I'd settle for a Forum article!) that tells me a bit more about unit types.
Strengths/Weaknesses, but in more detail. I've had a look on the forum, but cant see one.

I'm also interested in the specific differences between 'Core' and 'SE' unit types.
For example Pioneer Inf. are immune to 'Rugged defence'. Do SE Heavy Weapons Inf. have any similar advantages???

Also Tanks Destroyers (ie: Hetzer, JadgPanther) -do these have any advantage over normal tanks.
I used to play Panzer General II -where AT/Tank Destroyers had a combat modifier bonus when they attacked without moving before the attack (benefits of an entrenched position etc...)

anti tank has a bonus against tanks and recon cars but a malus against infantry from what I remember.

SE units usually have only slightly modified stats compared to egulars. often one point less defence and one point more offense or stuff like that. otherwise they're normal units in their type.

The main advantage of SE units tho is that do not count towards the deployment slots limit. So if you are allowed to deploy 20 units in a scenario you can deploy the said 20 normal units from your core + any number of SE units you have.

All se units have plus 1 ammo. se infantry have +1 soft attack and se tanks have +1 hard attack.

The biggest weakness of all units is being attacked when in the wrong terrain or a river hex.
So for infantry the worst thing is to be attacked by a tank when they are defending in open terrain.
For all other ground units, the worst thing is to be attacked by infantry when they are defending in close terrain. Only infantry get to shoot at the defenders close defense instead of ground defense which makes the cheap at and aa units the ai loves to build easy kills.
