I see that icons by M8 and M5 are still flickering to garbage in Mac.

We've spent time looking for the issue, but we cannot repeat it and (for whatever reason) it's not actually loading an "invalid" texture. I can only deduce it is some kind of driver bug that is choosing the wrong texture.
I will try and think of some other way to get useful data from those of you having the issue in the next beta drop.
Cheers
Pip

The strange thing is that only happens with these two units, not always, and I never see it on other units. Something different should be in those images.

FYI
I duplicated the icon of the M5 and give it the name of the M3 halftrack ( so the M3 and M5 have the same icon now)
The M3 shows its new icon ok, and the M5 shows the garbage. (scroll down to see the whole images)

Andrew had something of a brainwave, so can you please test out this hotfix. You will need to replace the game EXE (rather than grabbing a whole new build). To do this you need to download the zip below and unpack it. Then right click on your current 2.2.4 app file, and choose Show Package Contents. Then navigate to Contents->MacOS. Now replace the existing BABeta2.2.4 file with the newly downloaded one. Close the windows and run the app as normal.
http://www.slitherine.com/files/bbc_ba/ ... HOTFIX.zip
If everything has been done correctly, you will see a ** HOTFIX ** addition to the version message on the initial loading screen.
Please let us know if this update fixes the texture problem.
Cheers
Pip

It seems to work correctly now. Congratulations to Andrew.
