- I LOVE the music
- LOVE the animate splash as well
- Brief confusion looking at the check boxes in Settings. I would personally prefer check marks or dots to indicate selection. When I first went into Settings-> Automation, I initially thought the X's were for removing automation options
- Dropdown menus feel like they have a small amount of lag after selecting an option. not serious, but it is slightly annoying. May be because I'm running on integrated Intel 4000 graphics.
- The sliders in the audio pane work great. Maybe have the option to click on the number in the center and type in desired levels? Currently great as is
- Tab to cycle through buttons?
- Credits: it's only 5 of you?! geez
- Faction leaders faces look a bit too glossy
- Slightly disappointed by the lack of a Planet or some fixed map.
- Pleased with the difficulty gradations. The dozen or so options in Alpha Centauri seemed a bit overkill
- "Ready" should be "Launch" or "Go" or something if either all the other players are really or it's a single player game
- I miss the voice quote from Alpha Centauri when you launch
- Faction description for University slightly awkward. "Your faction values human intellect, academic virtues, and personal freedom" is more concise and forms a nice triplet. I understand if you want to distinguish the academic nature and the morale effect, in which case I suggest dropping either human intellect or academic virtues
- Ahhh. Left drag to pan. Just like Civ V. I'm so glad I have a touch screen
- Zooming works so smoothly! (with touch screen)
- Issues with not being able to lift finger up to pan more. Maybe button up events not being handled properly for touch
- Loving the music and especially the ambient sounds. I do question why this alien world has birds
- Text should be more concise! I don't want to read! I want to play! "Colonizers allow you to build new cities..."
- Flashing buttons might need to flash brighter
- Doing the action suggested by the tips should automatically advance the tips. Minor annoyance
- Being the grammar Nazi here: "You can either pay safe by fortifying *it* in your city, or explore by..." current version is verbose and doesn't have the parallel structure implied by "either...or..." Also, my Explorer ATV is an "it".
- Panning by moving cursor to the border is too fast when zoomed in. Need to take into account zoom level.
- Allow user to hold shift to increase panning speed
- All terrain had the same movement cost??? Ok. I can live with that
- "Take your time to explore the interface. Every button..."
- Liking the Civ V inspired next task button
- "The power display above the unit turns grey"
- UI sooo beautiful
- Window snapping on the city screen would help the OCD among us
- Drag to reorder in production queue
- "Raze city" button needs to be off to a corner (top right above production options?) and not right above "Return to Map". In the middle there it's too tempting
- Surprisingly fast turn processing
- Like that you can only see two techs ahead. It's fresh and still maintains the flavor of Alpha Centauri
- Would like to be able to select farther out research and have it find the best path like in Civ
- Contact with Divine Ascension! Oh no for my University faction!
- Dialogue options are genetic. I would like to see the "flavor" of my own faction come across. "Lady, your fanatic beliefs are too great of a hindrance to technological advance! you must be eliminated!"
- Maybe also insert "and blind aggression" dynamically, if faction had engaged in combat with another faction in the last five turns
- Weird that she would accept every treaty beside non-aggression
- Psssh. I'm not giving you a tribute. Better start working my way toward the heavy war machines
- Oh. Fungus costs 2 movement points
- 13 turns in. It's 1am. I'm not quite so dedicated a tester. time for sleep
- No default save name? It would also be nice to able to edit name inline without having a dialogue pop up
- Love the fade to main menu
