Hi, I had a bren carrier with infantry onboard which was blown up during my opponents turn, by his paratroopers. Then on my next turn the infantry have disappeared, instead of being off loaded, can you help me with this. The game is
Opponent: gortwillsaveus
Battle: MPSICILY*Ambush
I think between my turn 30-31
Thanks

Is it possible that they were killed during your opponents turn (esp if they surrendered) and you missed it on the replay?
Cheers

Or, do you mean you never saw the infantry offloaded? If there is nowhere in the 4 cardinal directions for them to be offloaded, then they will be destroyed.

Yes you are right, the cardinal points were occupied in my case. But why not off load to a empty diagonal square, as this is anyway possible in the normal off load process? And as a last resort why not stay on the same square as the destroyed carrier. With one attack point my opponent has taken out two of my units, instead of using further attack points to first suppress them and then destroy them. As we know every attack point is crucial in a tight game.
Thanks for listening to a wounded general.

There isn't really any specific reasoning for it, it's just the way the script has been written. I mourn with you for your lost men
Cheers
