Suggested enhancement

It would be nice if hitting the escape key in the game (PC version) would bring up the menu. Right now the escape key apparently does nothing.

It brings up the main game menu when I hit the escape key.

For some reason it doesn't do that for me from within the game.
EDIT: Wait a minute, it just did. It just doesn't do it reliably.
