Shouldn't you and your enemies AA guns get some experience after downing an incoming aircraft?

The key issue would be that any and all AA fires at a plane, so the logic could get a little tricky. It's not something we have planned

On a related note, I've never understood why units don't gain experience when they destroy another unit with indirect fire. Since it is known that the unit is destroyed, presumably this is being communicated to the firing unit and they would know that they'd hit their mark as much as any other...

Well there are some very powerful Artillery Guns that ussualy rout or kill infantry (25 Pounder for example) will be elite in the first couple turns. And it is battlefield experience so it has to fight face to face for good experience

I understand this logic, but the conclusion is that is some artillery that essentially cannot become elite. Unless mis-deployed/misused. I think the solution should be that elite status just doesn't upgrade those very deadly units much. But, for example, it seems like mortar teams should demonstrably improve.

Please ... no experience gain for indirect arty fire. Too powerful already.
