Hi,

Thank you very much fo everyone involved at Clichy. I had a great time - even when I lost to Jerome!

Thank you to Gille for being a great host. He let me stay at his house, I met his family and shared breakfast in the mornings French traditional style - baguette, croissant and pain au chocolat fresh from the bakery in the morning.

Everyone was friendly, spoke patiently in English and did everything they could to make my time a good one. I'll come again next year and try and encourage as many people from the UK as I can to come to.

Battle report and questions to come. I have no internet at home at the moment, so my time is limited to what I can squeeze in at work. So it may be a while.

Cheers,

Bruce.

Hi Bruce,
As you are out of action,I was looking at what figures we had available for Oxford and we have an awful lot of chariots so how about a big biblical bash ? 1600 pts of chariots a side should look impressive

I too am sad that I couldn't make either the Clichy or the Jaen tournaments, the timing was very bad for me and until I get a new job I may struggle to persuade Michele to let me go to too many comps overseas.

We are organizing a Big Event in Spain for the Next year, In Seville probably, I think it´s a good possibility to visit Spain, although If you coudn´t come, we will go Britcon in mass the next Year.

Congratulations for the Olivier´s Victory, and to the French FOG Team for the Tournament, we are waiting a lot of Photographs.

Yes, I was hoping to make one of Clichy or Jaen. Sadly work & family had other plans for me!

Here's hoping for next year!

The problem is that Michele works in a school and can only get holiday at certain times of year.

I am intending teaching her how to play FoG. She used to play 6th edition years ago and most of the Seleucid's in my collection are hers.

Well done Olivier - a fine army well played as was evcident at Britcon.

Good to hear Bruce had a good time. I spent 14 months in France and the classic breakfast is soemthing I still miss - including the walk to the patisserie and my "pet" ducks on the Seine who once had the cheek to invade my kitchen to demand their fair share!!

I think we can safely say that with some longer advanced notice we can rsutle up a decent travelling contingent. Sad I couldn't make it but looking forward to the next time.

Looking forward to Warfare already. List distribution for this by the way will commence next week.
