Flash installation error

Hello,

Picked up my old disc version of Spartan after a long time. I've played it on vista before and since uninstalled. I get the following error message when I try to install:

Setup could not find Adobe Flash(tm) Player installed on your system
You need to install Adobe Flash(tm) Player in order to run this installation.

When I click 'autofix' I get this error message:

Setup initialization failed
Error # 0

Any advice would be much appreciated.

I can only think that the installer from back when needs Flash - if you don't have it installed I guess you could pop over to Adobe and install it, then uninstall afterwards if you don't want it on your system. It's a little odd though, as I don't recall us ever using Flash in the installer. What packaging does you copy have?

Cheers

Pip

Hi Pip thanks for the response.

I have downloaded and installed flash several times from adobe's website but it hasn't worked. Get same error message. Any idea what version I could try specifically searching for?

Tried to take some pictures but the post "looks to spammy for a new user" when I put the links in :(

White label on the front, blue on the back with the 'soldout software' logo.

I am pretty sure they added some install wrapper on top of our stuff which could be the issue. Check if you can explore the disk and find our installer on it anywhere and not go through their launcher.
