Questions about Multiplayer etc.

Hi,

I can't wait for the release cause I'm really in love with the Panzer Corps Demo but I can't buy/play a game where I have to fight against my own country, it would tear my heart apart ;)

But now to my Questions:

1.) How long does a Multiplayer game last (e.g. Panzer Corps)? More then an hour? I would love to play the game vs my best man but if a match lasts longer then an hour we will never finish a battle ...

2.) Is there an option for 2on2? I guess not.

3.) Is there anything else then the Campaign and the normal Multiplayer Matchup planned? I would love to see a Survival Map where I have a Fortress with a few Units defending vs waves of Orks (or even better Necrons). You could also add a Online Highscore who survived the most Turns or sth.

4.) Will it be available on Steam?

For the Emperor

PS If you ever decide to develope an Operation Mercury Addon (or Standalone) for Panzer Corps and it is playable from the Cretan Side of Life I will love you forever! Untill then I wait for the W40KA Release

Well, I thought we would meet over TS, talk about shit and have a short skirmish. Not possible in 1-2 hours?

How quickly a game plays out is entirely up to the players. You can submit turns as quickly as you like. We have run tourneys in realtime in the past for various games (e.g. everyone logs in at the same time and just waits on incoming turns). If you have more than one game running with fast-playing opponents (such as ones running the PC system tray tool which will tell you when turns are ready to play) then you can be playing non-stop until one of you has to stop for sleep :).

Cheers

Pip

of coz you can just play a turn in several minutes and submit then you can finish one game in several hours
but i prefer to consider for more time before submitting to make sure that i can beat my opponents

Well I have many things to learn about TBS! My last one was Incubation many many years ago ...

Thanks for the answers. BTW I just saw Allied Corps in the coming soon section, this will keep me busy till W40KA arrives.

Cheers

PBEM I welcome, Steam support would be really keen however.
