A gully is a depression in the ground. It is too uneven to provide any uphill advantage but can conceal troops. Troops in a gully are only visible from outside within 1 MU. Troops in a gully can see outside.

So does it mean that bowmen inside a gully can shoot any units of bowmen outside of 1 MU without a shoot back?

As drafted at present I think it does yes.

As for whether that's a good idea or not ...leave that with us. It could certainly lead to some chessy HArt deployments.....
