I am keen to buy some of these, having been impressed with some units a friend has painted. Are they still being made and are they available in the UK?

Not at the moment and no, other than 2nd hand or ebay to answer your questions. The range has been sold to Khurasan in the USA. Jon has plans to get them into production, but I don't think that will be anytime soon from what he said the last time I asked him, as he has a load of other projects to get on sale first.

Their website (Testudo) seems up and running and their news section doesn't say anything about a sale. Shouldn't their site be down if they are defunct?

I've bought the line, yes. I'm hoping to have the figurines available again soon, but there have been some kinks in the remaking of the moulds. The line is a mature one and some of the models have been through several pressings, which we are working to repair. The horses are particularly problematic and some are almost paper thin. There's a possibility that I will substitute our 30 years war horses for them if the riders will fit. It's underway now though, so it's just a matter of time before the models are re-released.

I'm glad Sr. Rava still has his site up as I will be nicking the images for my listings!

Good news for those intending to buy some, the weak link was the horses!
