CREATING A MULTIPLAYER GAME

Hello,

I have created a scenario which I managed, with the help of Dog on this forum in my previous topic, to transfer the game to another player using DROPBOX. So far so good.

What I would like to do however is to play that game to test it in multiplayer view.

Under "MY CHALLENGE" I click "NEW CHALLENGE"
I go through the list and notice the HEADLINE IN YELLOW "DESERTBATTLES" which is the game that I set up. Under that Headline however I do not see my scenario in white.

Can someone help me to get my game turned into a multiplayer game. I would like to play against son for a while before making it available to all of you.

Thank you

Is your scenario listed in the CAMPAIGN.TXT for this campaign?

:| I played around a bit and tried to find some instructions on this forum.....would be nice to have a manual on posting games.
Okay, so so far I have managed to have the game appear in MULTIPLAYER and I was able to issue a challenge for the game but....I am unable to have the game sent to my ipad.

I have gone over the instructions but there is obviously something wrong with one of the files.
When I try to download the game on the ipad the loading drops. No error message appears.

I might have to give up on this...

If it drops then it's likely you need to delete the old file from your iPad by going

Multiplayer -> challenges -> new challenge -> remove files from computer

If the iPad has an old version of the file it won't be able to see any new challenges.

I've also had the download hang up if I try to paste the link to the CPf file rather than the lst file.

I recommend you post the lst file using the code brackets as the forum truncates web addresses otherwise

In my ipad I see the heading in yellow of my game but there is no actual game to click in white. I deleted the game in the campaign section already... So it is not possible to delete the game as you mentioned.

Not sure what to do. Perhaps I need to uninstall ba and reinstall it?

Thank you DocMogs for your help. A bit disappointed that support staff were not a bit more helpful but in the end it seems like I was able to figure it out myself.

SUCCESS!
I reinstalled the IPAD APP and that allowed me to install the game.
Looks good now and I will spend a few weeks improving the game.

I would like to install some of the mods I have seen like LEADER and ENGINEER. Are those codes available for everyone to use and if so, are they difficult to install?

Thank you

If you have fortified line leaders then you have the scripts to make those functions work but you will have to go though the additional files to find all the parts that make it work. There will be a .bsf file in the scenario folder that tells the scenario what to do when and the there will be data files that alter graphics and things.

I'm actually not familiar enough to instruct you about adding these things but reading some threads might help you out. The forum has a lot of info
