Download the latest beta build version here. You will have recieved your serial via email or Private Message.

This is the first broad release beta version, so please give us all the feedback you can! We are especially interested in mission bugs, balance and fun. If you can also find time to try out existing missions with the new code then that is very helpful also.

We are hoping that this build will be the final beta version, so please give things as much testing as you possibly can .

Download the appropriate version of 2.2.5 from here:

NOTE:
On OSX you will need to use the launcher to register your Rommel serial - do NOT use the beta to authorise any other expansions. Also, if you were part of the Husky beta you should delete any .SER files which start with a + symbol in ~/Documents/My Games/BBCBA prior to activating the new beta.
On PC you will need to use your Rommel serial to install the game, and you will need to have a working version of BA installed on your machine as well (do not install the beta over your release BA version!).

"Install CRC Failure" ... a first for me.
No previous beta installed.
No problems during install; game launch worked fine. Music playing, but no joy.
Will try again.

Any way to get an LST file for iOS or is that out of the question?

I got CRC Failure on the first install. tried 2nd time the same. any thoughts or solutions

At what point do you see the error message? During install or when running the game.

Note that you need an installed version of BA on the same machine as you install the Rommel Beta.

I have subscribed this beta test for iPad, but I'm not able to run the .dmg file
Can somebody help me please?

We have not started beta testing of Rommel on iPad yet, but will likely do so in the coming weeks.

The .dmg file is the Mac OSX version of the beta.

I downloaded the beta, but when I go to play it, it says there was an error in the installation. What should I do? Thanks.

So there will be a Beta test for iOS users? Thought it was only PC that got beta usage. Why not just make a LST file like a User Scenario?

same here - getting install crc failure. Try reinstall to fix this error...although the install process went without a glitch....my beta was for windows and os is win7

Because (a) the beta isn't just a content drop, it contains many fixes and updates, (b) we wouldn't be able to restrict the beta testing and gradually add new testers which helps with balancing and feedback.

CRC error (when running the game) usually means that you don't have a version of the main BA game installed on the same system.

Installed fine for me. Played the first scenario got my arse handed on a plate, US paratroopers tougher then I thought and with armour destroying capabilities. Learning from my mistakes will play this battle again with more caution.

I get the same message that Sergejk posted. It comes up after I click run, it loads, then the error mesage comes up.
