We are proud to announce Lost Battles, the latest expansion for the award-winning strategy game Gary Grigsby's War in the East.

Lost Battles adds more than 10 scenario to the critically-acclaimed main game.

Choose to play whether the short campaigns like Operation Konrad (Germany’s desperate defense of Budapest) and Operation Mars (Soviet offensives Operation Mars and Jupiter) or the longer ones like the Battle for Moscow (Operation Typhoon and the subsequent Soviet winter counter-offensive) and Vistula to Berlin (the final offensives through Poland and the fall of Berlin).

Adding to these campaigns there are three full Campaigns: Winter 42-43 (the Soviet 42-43 winter counter-offensives including the recapture of Stalingrad), Stalingrad to Berlin Campaign ( the Soviet 42-43 winter counter-offensives which continues until the end of the war) and the 1941-45 Campaign (the standard full campaign with added sudden death victory conditions for both sides).

Get more information on Gary Grigsby's War in the East: Lost Battles from the official product page.

Can you clarify the remark 'second expansion' for me?

I was not aware there had been a 1st expansion.

Thanks, was wondering if I was having a senior moment there :) I thought I had seen something else before but could not find mention of it around here and wasn't dedicated enough to wander over at Matrix Games.

You might want to put in mention of it here seeing as you guys are one and the same :)

..Ok...now,lets slow down and take this nice and easy---the date was changed in the aforementioned section to : 01/03/2012

I wil grant you this: we are PROBABLY coming closer to the real date of release from the previous attempt.

...can we try this just one more time...?..

..I feel confident there is a sane and resonable explanation for all of this..that makes little sense in the short term but lends itself to legand in the long ..but we who care about such things do thank you [are we really sure this is the right date?...just kidding..I'm sure it's right....right?]

The best we can say is it is the planned date. Nothing is set in stone with game development unfortunately!
