Hannibalipuripathi on The Take Away

Don "The Don" McHugh organised a round of the
Southern League one-day FoGR competition in chilly Clevedon recently and this encouraged me to field yet another new army (made up of rather dubiously morphed old figures) - the Maratha.
Now, in 3 fully detailed and historically accurate
match reports you can see how the Renaissance Indians did against Samurai, Jin Chinese and finally full widescreen
Technicolor Aztecs.
The reports also feature expert critique and analysis from a new member of the Madaxeman.com Pundits Panel, our resident expert on Indian armies, the legendary General and Indian King
Hannibalipuripathi

Hi Tim,
Your links don't appear to work as they either take you to the Oxford round or an error page which gives the address of the Oxford round. Equally I couldn't navigate there from your Madaxeman homepage!

Tim
Wonderful reports and good to see the return of Plan 'A'...
The Aztecs have to be one of the most colourful armies I have EVER seen.

Very enjoyable as always.
Now I don't want to diminish the flow of these much awaited AAR's BUT have you ever done any analysis on games you do write ups of versus those you dont? Just wondering if the distraction of taking photos and all the other journalism is taking your eye off the ball

I do write ups on all the competitive games I play... and did so even when I was finishing much higher up the table

Yes it's very funny, but as the owner of a Samurai army I'm disappointed that all of my tactics have been revealed.

True Kevin -
but your "Advance down the middle and poke them with a sharp stick" tactic is arguably more effective than your "Do a right turn and form a conga line around the edge of the table" tactic!!!

I varied the tactic in my last game at Challenge. I did a left turn...
