Challenges and results – Medieval

We will begin April 10th, ends August 10th
1 All games are at 500 pts, both FOW and march moves are used. Issue challenges with password, also pm your opponent on this link and choose “any book”.
2 Players using books that other player does not have, could you please ask for and or give email addresses. Copy and paste armies, from the relevant books, including any possible allies, attach and email opponent. I have used word in the past.
3 Armies can be customized.
4 Please read the rules, “Season 10”.
5 Reporting results will be incumbent on the player who won the battle. They will be required to log into the Slitherine Forum and post the result publically on the appropriate thread. Results posted should be reported in the following format;

Division (A/B/C etc.)
Player ID (army) (BG lost / BG total) vs Player ID (army) (BG lost / BG total)

The next step is to update the online spreadsheets. At the moment bagration1812 is working on designing this system. Keep your eyes peeled.

Flatsix518 (Mamluk - early) (20/27) vs Voskarp (WoTR - RIII) (41/40)

Voskarp actually made a reasonably sound deployment, but it played into the Mamluk hands. Early in the battle, I got the better of his cavalry and fairly cheaply killed off some longbows to gain a big lead. Voskarp gamely fought on and narrowed the game to make it close at the end. Well played!

might be capital A mate and nice, yes my old paternal grandfather got kicked off the boat for Gallopoli for being under age, ended up in France in '17. Uncle in same family kept an eye on the Japs in Featherston Camp, Dad volunteered for Malaya but wasnt drawn in the ballot, two cousins in Vietnam, another cousin and myself were in 7 WNHB, I did 7 years in the Grunts

The Rebel pretenders have been put in their place and the rebellion crushed. Pretty much a head to head scrap of similar compositions, Caiko's over aggressiveness at times cost him a win, and nothing like rear charges with the women and children ahhh got to love that
