Disabling the red targeting triangle during opponent's turn?

The current version of BA (v2.10) shows a red 'targeting triangle' over my units, during my movement turn, if I move that unit into the firing range of an opponent's unit (in MP, not sure about in SP).
Effectively, BA is warning me, "you could be shot at, if you stay where you are now". And it's a darned useful signal to me, to get the heck out of there!! But it's not entirely realistic that I get so helpfully advised of my enemy's carefully planned ambushes.
Is there a way to switch off the red targeting triangle?
I'd like to keep it to show me when there are enemy units that I can fire at, during my turn. But I don't want it to show me when I've put myself somewhere where I can be fired at by a hidden enemy unit. It makes ambushes very hard to execute...
