UK Interest - FoGR National Rankings January 2013

The FoGR National Rankings have been loaded into the files area of the Yahoo Group and will hopefully soon be on the Slitherine site (thanks Phil).
Well I have finally caught up to be in the same year...
Godendag, even with the bad winter, continues to be the most popular FoGR comp in the UK. The first ever round of the Southern League managed to attract 20 entries, only 2 less than Britcon 2012!
The battle at the top continues to intensify. Alasdiar broke with social convention and won the the competition that he organised... he did at least share first place... This brings him to less than half a point behind Ben Jones.
In the battle to be Don of Dons, Avis has overtaken McHugh (I did wonder WHY I received the results quite so quickly after the event...)
We have two new entrants in the top 50, Lynda Fairhurst and Andy Scott. It should be noted that Ms Fairhurst was reported to have attempted to gain an unfair advantage as she actually READ the rules...
We now have 113 ranked players in the UK which is not a bad number.
