I have a problem with the game. After I click on "Play", image (with german soldiers) flashes all the time and it's the same when I launch the game ...

Hi, we need some more info before we can help out, like log file, glew info and dxdiag, please have a read here how to obtain those:

As a tip, try and use the latest driver straight from the original graphic card vendor and make sure you are patched to the latest CTGW 1.13 version.

First my card graphic drivers are updated and I loaded the new patch 1.13.

i have the same issue.
i have vista with nvidia gtx 260 with the latest drivers.

Your machine is way more than needed to run the game and drivers are perfectly fine too. To be honest I have no idea what is happening there. Game log shows no errors and in fact says that game loaded correctly.

By "Play" image you mean briefing video play icon? You can't watch it?

Was the game working correctly before patching to 1.3.0?

The problem wasthe same before and after the last updated of the game.
When I click on icon CTGW, I have a window with the menu "Play to CTGW" "Search of update" and so on : no problem.
When I click on "Play", there is a picture of german soldiers with the menu "Solo" ... : the picture flashes quickly and flashes all the time when I click on other button "Solo" "Credit" ...

Hm still not quite sure what is happening. By "Solo" you mean "Singleplayer" yes?

Also, log that you attached says that you started singleplayer game. What happened after that? Are you able to play the game but it flashes all the time? Or something else happens?

Please go to "change settings" and see if Fullscreen and VSync options change anything (VSync is actually a suspect). Please also try different resolutions.

Yes when I have the menu with "singleplayer", "multiplayer", "option", "credit" and "quit", the screen flashes quickly. I click on "single player", i have the menu with the differents scenarii, campaigns and the button "launch" , the screen flashes always. I click on "Launch", I have the map, the units, I can play but screen flashes always ... it is very tiring.
I tried different options and all the resolutions in the "change settings" without improvements.
Just a question : in the resolutions possibilities, I have different resolutions (1360x768 ...) but only 32 bpp. Is it a problem ?

Could you try out and revert to one or two older drivers and see if the flashing also happens, with VSync disabled?

I loaded the old driver of my graphic card ... and the problem was the same.
I have also Battle academy and panzer corps without problem ...
I really don't understand !!!

Please unpack contents of attachment to your ctgw installation directory and run ctgw_sdl.exe.

I unpack your files in my ctgw directory, but when I click on ctgw_sdl.exe I have an error message (in french but I translated) : "The application was not able to start because its configuration side by side is incorrect".
I'm not sure about the translation of "side by side" (côte-à-côte in french !!!).

My problem seems to be resolved ... I don't know why !!!
I just installed a new game on my PC and now after many tries no more flashs and the game seems OK.
I got just a message concerning the basic color of windows 7 and after that it's ok ...
