I need help.
You're supposed to get a minimum of 18 ground units EAST, to the Italian Mainland.
I did that. Everything on Sicily escaped as far East as I could go... And it turns out to be a loss.
Why?
What am I doing wrong?
What am I supposed to do?
Someone please email me
Thanks.

Its been a while since I played this scenario but did you retain control of the German controlled cities in the West. You may want to reread messages and see if this was part of the objectives.

It looks like you're talking about Messina, as Etna Line South is a fairly standard defense scenario.
The catch to Messina is you cannot abandon Sicily. As the objectives state:
IDS_SCEN_AXIS_CAM_OBJECTIVES Decisive Victory:
Bring at least 18 total GROUND units to the Italian mainland to the East AND hold at least five objectives.

Marginal Victory:
Hold at least five objectives.
This scenario is highly dependant on how well you have preserved Italian Auxiliary units over the past two scenarios, namely Syracuse and Etna Line. If you sacrificed Italians to hold the line, or disbanded them for prestige, you probably had an easier time in these two past scenarios, but it makes Messina extremely difficult, because Messina only has room for 18 CORE units to be deployed.
Good luck!

And you'll need a lot lof luck if you didn't rescue many italian units in the scenarios before.
