Being using my new computer to play multiplayer games of BA suddenly the 3 buttons are greyed out. Saw something about missing ids in place of the menu buttons but a computer reboot fixed that. Now I can't load a saved game, play multiplayer,or use the editor (which I never do anyway).

It thinks this is a new game since the initial campaigns are locked - how do i change that ? This happened to me once before

Hey Mlazar, Are you involved in the Husky beta-test? Husky affects 2.0.6. There is a fix tho...

No, I wish I was, but given I started a new job 2 weeks ago, it is better that I don't. I fixed the issue by going through the tutorial. Some parameter in one of the config files got wiped. (I think the files got wiped somehow, I also lost my hotseat config. Do you know which file and which parameer for hot seat>)

The game initially locks out those options to make the player actually do the tutorial before trying to play MP and getting pasted :).

You can override the lockout by going to My Documents/My Games/BBCBA and opening the options.txt file. Change the value on the CAMPAIGNS line to 255 and resave. The game should now have all the buttons and campaigns unlocked and ready to play.

Cheers

Pip

No idea. It's not often written to, but with system crashes it can be hard to tell.

Cheers
