I am playing against a gentleman who uses a tablet. How can he access the sightlines/range as you can on a computer using Ctl 1?

I use an iPad and on the battle screen in the upper right corner is a circle with two gears. Touching this brings up the same option icons including the ones he needs just like on a PC including next unit, destroyed units etc.
