Mac video issue.

I recenetly bought this game from VPltd.com on digital download. Having installed and everything I loaded up, selected full screen and was greeted by a garbled mess of colour. My resolution is 1024x768 in millions of colours (16bit).
I also tried it in windowed mode (same screen settings) and it worked fine! No problems except one: Now, because there's the tool bars at the top of the screen, the bottom tenth has been chopped off taking with it some information and, as I discovered in the tutorial, some instructions.
Is there an easy way around this problem or am I simply stuck.
Just for the record, my specs are iBook G3 600, 384mb ram, 8mb vid card. I know the vid card is low but it runs well, if a little slowly in windowed mode so I'm sure it's not that.
Many thanks for any help you can offer,
PezDude

Sorry you are having problems. We did not develop the MAC version and have no MAC expereince so you need to ask VPL tech support to help you out on this.

Having similar issues with Gates of Troy on a PPC eMac and an Intel iMac.

(1) fullscreen is off-centered to the top of the screen, upper 1/3 not visible.
(2) window-mode is operable for me
(3) battle screen graphics not rendering correctly, the terrain is blacked out in the set-up screen and during the battle, a number of different hues and stuff mire the field. Not playable. Best to allow the AI to handle the battles if one insists on playing.

The website for the porting house is http://www.vpltd.com/. Perhaps they can give you some pointers on how to overcome the issues?

Cheers

Right. I guess they've let the product go, because they no longer sell it.

They should still support it even if they stop selling it. Have you tried contacting them? I'd be very disappointed if they stopped tech support.
