It shouldn't be a problem unless you try to play both

It is more of a space thing. Because the FOG tables are 5' it is easier for them to manage tables with all the 5' ones on the same day. The space is then used for FoW on the next day with fewer 6' tables.

I suppose it would be possible to do FoG:R on the Sunday but I am not sure about space compared with other things.

If the FoG:R was on Sunday how many players would play FoG:AM on Saturday and FoG:R on Sunday?

I know some do AM on Saturday and FoW on Sunday.

given the choice I'd play R on the Saturday.. I'd probably do both if it was offered

i suspect take up for both will be low.

There are still spaces available, I am expecting the venue this year to be nicer than the hall we have had inflicted on us in the past.

Come on peeps, get those entries in.

Hi Hammy

As mentioned count me in for FOGAM Saturday.

Jacob will have to give it a miss but we are both staying over and playing in the Dominion and 7 Wonders tournaments Sunday.

There are still some places left for this comp. Bookings are open for another week and a bit.

The new venue looks really nice, a definite step up from where we have been previously.

There are still a few places left in the comp, the bookings system will go offline tonight so get those last minute entries in today if you can.

I believe that it is possible to pay on the door but it would be best if people can pre-book.

OK folks, numbers are quite a bit down on last year but then there are a decent number playing FoG:R as well so overall a decent turnout.

The FoG:AM runners and riders are:

Robert Medcraft Early Achaemenid Persian
David Fairhurst Pagan Burmese
Lynda Fairhurst Anglo Irish
Andy Shepherd Later Seleucid
Gareth Lewis Later Welsh
Gordon Jamieson Later Polish
Peter Card Gallic
Matthew Poole Santa Hermandad Nueva Castilian
Dino Monticoli Early Carthaginian
Robert Taylor Swiss
Leslie Mitchell Later Seleucid
Paul Longmore Swiss
Ian Speed Ancient British

As things stand I think Bob Medcraft may well end up playing FoG:R
If we have an overall odd number of players I will play in FoG:AM using a Classical Indian army.

See you soon

Hey Hammy, I'm banning you from using the army that stuffed my Swiss on Wednesday !!

Can't you get something full of unprotected natives with no impact capability and armed only with a feather for melee?

Ooh whilst I'm at it your Nellies are banned too Mr Fairhurst !!

I'm taking Swiss as my Catalans never had the answer to them and although my Dailami did okay against them I never faced Spike's in competition with them.

I haven't really used Swiss before so they are new for me. :D

Mind you after the debacle on Wednesday it may take me a while to get used to them.

Nellies ,what nellies? there's not much more to the army though.
The plan is to finish quick one way or the other to have a look round the show, after their performance Monday night that won't be difficult

So......
Another acolyte Mr Taylor, that's you and Mr Longmore jumping on my bandwagon  and there's no need to scared of a pile of tuskers, you have plenty of pointed sticks and they really love handgunners

Anyway folks good luck to you all, sorry I can't be there to impale you on the end of some very pointed pikes, but illness prevents me from defending my title
